Residential window tinting
The rooms with the best view are usually the hottest ones in the house. Window film on your sliders, lanai glass and sun-facing windows cuts the heat and glare coming through while keeping the view, and it protects floors, furniture and art from fading.
What window film does for a Florida home
Solar film reflects and absorbs a large share of the sun's heat before it enters the room, which means cooler rooms, less strain on the air conditioner and more even temperatures across the house. It also blocks nearly all of the ultraviolet light that fades wood floors, fabric and artwork.
Glare reduction is the change people notice first: you can see the TV in the afternoon and work at a desk by the window without squinting.
Film options
Films range from nearly clear (heat and UV control with no visible change) to lightly tinted, reflective, and privacy or frosted films for bathrooms and street-facing glass. We'll bring samples so you can see them on your own windows in your own light before choosing.
Not every film suits every window. Some insulated glass units shouldn't get dark or highly absorptive films. We check your glass type first and only recommend a film that's appropriate for it.
Installation
Film is applied to the interior side of the glass. We clean the glass thoroughly, apply the film, squeegee it and trim the edges by hand. Most homes are done in a day. Film cures over a few weeks, during which slight haziness or small water pockets are normal and clear on their own.

Residential window tinting: questions
Will window tint make my house dark?
Not unless you want it to. Many modern films are nearly clear and still reject a large share of heat. We'll show samples on your own windows so you can pick the look you want.
Can I tint my sliding glass doors and lanai glass?
Yes, and they're usually the best candidates because they're the largest sun-facing glass in the house.
Is window film safe for double-pane windows?
It depends on the glass and the film. Some darker or highly absorptive films aren't recommended on certain insulated units. We check the glass type first and only install film that's appropriate for it.
How do I get a price for home window tinting?
We don't publish prices because every home and building is different. Call or text 772-243-1234 and you'll have a number the same day, usually within the hour.
