Water-fed poles and purified water, explained
Quick answer: a water-fed pole is a long pole with a soft brush at the end and purified water running through it. The brush scrubs the glass, the purified water rinses it, and because purified water has no minerals, the glass dries spot-free without squeegeeing. It cleans second-story glass from the ground with no ladder against the house.
How it works
Tap water is run through a filtration system that removes the dissolved minerals. That purified water is pumped up a telescoping pole to a brush head. The brush scrubs the glass and frame, then the pole is lifted slightly and the glass is rinsed with a stream of pure water. With no minerals in the water, nothing is left behind when it dries.
Why it's better for upper glass
No ladder resting on gutters, stucco or a lanai cage. No one climbing on a wet Florida roof. Faster, so the glass doesn't dry mid-clean in the sun. And the frames get scrubbed and rinsed along with the glass, which a ladder-and-squeegee job often skips.
Where we still squeegee
Ground-floor glass, sliders, interior glass, and anything with heavy grime or hard water spots gets the strip washer and squeegee method. Water-fed poles are the tool for reach; the squeegee is the tool for detail. Most homes get both.
What it can't do
Remove mineral deposits (that's restoration compound). Clean interior glass. Reach glass above about three stories without specialized equipment.

Is water-fed pole cleaning as good as squeegee cleaning?
For exterior glass, yes, and better for frames and upper windows. Ground-floor and interior glass still gets the squeegee for detail.
Why doesn't the glass spot when it air-dries?
The water has been purified so there are no minerals to leave behind.
How do I get a price for two-story window cleaning?
We don't publish prices because every home and building is different. Call or text 772-243-1234 and you'll have a number the same day, usually within the hour.
